Locks of Love

Madelyn has been asking for quite some time to get her hair cut....short. Daddy, of course, likes long hair and was not too keen on the idea, at least not for it to be super short. After Madelyn told me, again this weekend, that she wanted to get her hair cut I remembered the Locks of Love organization. This is from their website: "Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis." I explained to Madelyn that this would be a great opportunity for her to help other kids, especially since she wanted to get her hair cut and they needed hair! 10 inches is the minimum requirement. Madelyn loves her new cut and Daddy told her that she looked beautiful. It was a good day.
